Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Planning and Permitting Coordinator based in Sheffield to support on our Yorkshire Water Contract.
Working Hours & Location:
- Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: Sheffield
- Holidays: 24 days + bank holidays.
As a Planning and Permitting Coordinator for our Yorkshire Water contract, you will administer all Streetworks permits and notices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) as well as schedule our engineers to needed sites.
Your role will involve:
- Manage the coordination of streetworks throughout the area.
- Operate the Street Works Register for the planning of works and events being organised on the highway.
- Working closely with our Scheduling teams to enable operational delivery
- Working closely with Program Manager
- Speaking with internal stakeholders
- Booking in jobs on the Big Change system
- Data entry
- Dealing with queries
- General administration duties
About you:
- Strong Attention to detail / Accuracy
- Previous experience working with Permits and notices
- Previous experience in planning or scheduling
- Computer literate
- Able to demonstrate a flexible approach
