Salary: £12.85 per hour, NJC Grade A3
Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 12.50 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (Monday to Friday)
Hatherleigh Community School Primary are looking for a friendly, reliable and caring Catering Assistant to join our school team.
About the Role
Your main roles will be to help serve children lunch and support the smooth running of the kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up ready to serve lunch
- Serving lunch to the children
- Clearing dishes from the dining hall
- Cleaning dishes and the kitchen after service
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is:
- Able to work efficiently in a busy school environment
- A good communicator who can work effectively with pupils and staff
- A team player with a positive, supportive attitude
- Physically able to carry out the duties of the role (reasonable adjustments considered)
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience working with children
- Experience in a catering environment
