NIGHT Duty Officer
We are currently recruiting for the position of Night Duty Officer
Responsible to: Front Of House Manager
General Scope and Purpose:
Hotel Receptionist duties.
To provide a positively memorable stay.
Assist guests with luggage (good physical strength required).
General information on the services provided by Chelsea Cloisters and of London in general.
To assist with transportation for guests as required.
Receiving and recording of mail delivered to the Reception desk.
To assist the Reception team and act as a Night Duty Officer as and when required.
To help maintaining the safety of the building monitoring the CCTV at Reception keeping vigilant and reporting any suspicious activity to security.
Handling complaints, finding solutions to issues.
Night Audit.
Ensuring the payments have been logged correctly and securing them.
Hours of work: Full-time position – 3 days on 3 days off, 12 hour shifts
The Front Office operates 365 days a year, 24/7 so shifts may vary pending business levels and requirements.
The person:
Previous customer service and use of Front Office PMS required.
Experience in Security is an advantage.
The person will need to provide information to guests travelling around London and help resolve issues as they arise.
Ideally 2-3 years relevant hotel experience in a similar role
A hands-on professional with a natural ability to motivate, train and inspire the front office team members
Excellent detailed knowledge of front office operations
A passion for high quality guest service with attention to details and ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication in English (any other language is an advantage, interpersonal and leadership skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office required
Smart appearance and good grooming standards are expected.

We are a large residential property with over 600 apartments, part private apartments and over 250 rooms let short-term as a hotel.
