Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Driver and Chef to join our vibrant team at The Pizza Post. This dual-role position is based in Manchester M29 7JY and plays a crucial part in ensuring our mobile food vans operate smoothly during events. Responsibilities
- Drive and operate mobile food vans safely to various event locations within 90 miles of the Manchester area.
- Prepare and cook high-quality pizzas according to company standards.
- Manage food production processes efficiently during events.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
- Assist with supervising team members when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food van.
- Provide excellent customer service to event clients.
- Support the setup and breakdown of the pizza van for each event.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a chef with strong culinary skills.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Supervising or team management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous.
