Job Title: Coffee Shop & Social Enterprise Manager
Location: Whitehall Museum, Cheam, Sutton (SM3 8QD)
Salary: £35,000 - £37,500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Daytime, including weekends)

We are looking for an inspiring Coffee Shop & Social Enterprise Manager to steer our growth, uphold our standards, and champion our brilliantly diverse team. You won’t be working in isolation. You’ll have a built-in support network, working closely with our centralised marketing team for campaigns, a dedicated Safeguarding Lead for compliance, and the CEO for high-level financial planning.
Your Mission:
- Be a High Performing Coffee Shop Manager: this includes daily floor operations, quality control, excellent customer service and team supervision.
- Drive Strategic Growth: Execute local marketing, build community partnerships, and drive foot traffic to make us the go-to destination in Cheam.
- Maintain Operational Excellence: Oversee P&L, stock control, and menu engineering to ensure the enterprise remains self-sustaining.
- Champion Inclusive Leadership: Adapt training materials and workflows to empower our trainees with learning disabilities and staff, fostering a culture of dignity and high expectations.
- Compliance: Lead as the primary point of contact for all Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Food Safety regulations.
Who You Are (Essential Requirements):
- Experience: 3+ years of successful management in a fast-paced hospitality environment or a commercial social enterprise.
- Qualifications: Food Safety Level 3 Qualified and Barista trained.
- Skills: Strong financial literacy (P&L management, labour costs), menu development experience, and IT proficiency.
- Mindset: An entrepreneurial 'owner' mentality with a deep passion for social equity and neurodiversity advocacy.
- Leadership: High emotional intelligence, patience, and a natural talent for motivating and supporting a diverse team.
