Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to support various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, practical skills, and a willingness to learn. This role involves assisting with site preparation, utilisation of hand and power tools, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality results across multiple projects. The position offers valuable experience in horticulture, gardening, irrigation, and general maintenance tasks within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticultural tasks to ensure the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators under supervision
- Supporting construction activities including site clearing, digging, and material handling
- Maintaining irrigation systems and ensuring their proper functioning
- Performing general maintenance duties to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency
- Assisting with the installation and repair of structures or features within outdoor or indoor environments
- Ensuring work areas are clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Supporting team members with various labouring tasks as required on-site
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with tools such as hand tools, power tools, or excavators is desirable
- Experience working within construction or maintenance environments is beneficial
- Ability to operate basic machinery such as excavators or specialised equipment is a plus but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to gardening, construction, and site maintenance
