Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fire & Electrical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate fire safety and electrical projects across various sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical safety and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of fire safety and electrical projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards including completion of tool box talks and daily briefing.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout project lifecycles for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Effectively manage project teams by delegating tasks, setting priorities, and overseeing schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work adheres to project specifications and safety protocols and following the relevant programme
Skills
- Proven experience in managing fire safety or electrical infrastructure projects within a construction or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in project scheduling and resource management.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational abilities to oversee multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members at all levels.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, programmes and regulatory requirements confidently. Pay: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
