Zen Educate is looking for compassionate and resilient Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join schools in Midsomer Norton. We are seeking a dedicated full-time professional to support children and young people with a range of complex learning and physical needs.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that caters to learners aged 4 to 19. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a multi-professional team of teachers and therapists to support pupils with needs including:
- Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and associated complex health needs.
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Communication and Interaction Needs.
- Sensory and/or Physical Needs.
Your role will be hands-on and varied, with a strong focus on preparing students for adulthood and life beyond school.
