Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Location: Salford
Pay: £16.90 per hour
Contract: Long-term, full-time
We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant in Salford to work within a mainstream primary school supporting pupils who require additional support in the classroom.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, 1:1 Teaching Assistant or SEND Support Worker looking for a new role in the Bolton area.
Key responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 support and small group support for pupils with additional needs.

Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs.

Supporting emotional regulation, routines and positive behaviour.

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team.

Encouraging confidence, independence and engagement in lessons.

Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
We are looking for people who have:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN / SEND.

Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN TA, Youth Worker, Support Worker or Care Assistant.

A calm, patient and resilient approach.

Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

A genuine interest in working in education and supporting vulnerable learners.
