The Role
You'll be working in a well-regarded school that provides a safe and supportive learning environment for pupils aged 7 to 16. The school is a community for students with a wide range of learning difficulties, including those with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The curriculum is tailored to each student's specific needs, focusing on developing life skills, independence, and communication. Your role will be hands-on, providing crucial support in the classroom and helping pupils to engage with their learning. This includes assisting with activities, helping with 1:1 or small group work, and promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
