Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the shift
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet or window cleaning
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within allocated periods
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment or waste bins as needed
