Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Night Carer to provide essential support and care during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients in a care home or home care setting. Duties
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing during night shifts, responding promptly to any emergencies or needs.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, dressing, and mobility support, respecting dignity and privacy.
- Follow individualised care plans to deliver tailored care in accordance with each client’s requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of overnight activities, observations, and any incidents in line with organisational protocols.
- Communicate effectively with day staff during handovers to ensure continuity of care.
- Support clients with medication reminders if required, adhering to prescribed schedules.
- Ensure the environment remains safe, clean, and comfortable for all residents or clients.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable.
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving client transportation.
- Good communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records and using organisational systems.
- Ability to work independently during night hours while maintaining high standards of professionalism and attentiveness.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to support vulnerable individuals sensitively.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
