Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Responsible Individual to support our Registered Managers and our homes to be Ofsted compliant and provide a nurturing and therapeutic environment.
This opportunity can be on a part time basis or as part of a consultancy portfolio.
You will have been a registered manager in a children's home and will oversee the compliance and operational standards across our 4 homes in the Bristol area.
This role requires strong leadership, supervisory skills, and a thorough understanding of childrens home legislation. The Responsible Individual will play a vital role in maintaining regulatory compliance, providing a nurturing homely environment and supportive management to the team.
Duties
- Support and lead the managers.
- Oversee processes, systems and Clearcare useage
- Measure outcomes and training to ensure continuous improvement
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance
- Liaise with social workers, professionals, and regulatory bodies to coordinate effective responsive care.
- Ensure all training is reviewed and updated so care is consistent and outcomes improved
- Oversee incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken promptly.
- Previous management experience within a children's home or similar setting is essential.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation governing children's social care and safeguarding in the UK.
Pay: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
