At Axis Care, we are dedicated to enhancing lives by delivering high-quality care and support services. We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Live-in Care Assistants to join our growing team.
This role follows a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotational pattern. Placement may be based either in Manchester or Bristol, depending on client requirements.
Accommodation is provided during each live-in placement.

Key Responsibilities
- Work hands-on in the community, where required, supporting service users with a range of needs
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, staff, and external professional
- Be proactive in problem-solving, responding to incidents and escalating concerns appropriately
- Attend training and be willing to train others as part of our quality improvement approach
- Requirements
- Previous experience in social care (ideally in domiciliary or supported living settings)
- A caring, confident leader with a strong team ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to complete or currently working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Willingness to travel between Manchester and Bristol as part of the 2-week rota.
- Commitment to complete Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (if not already achieved)
- Willing to complete Train the Trainer qualification (e.g. manual handling, medication, safeguarding)
- Able to use initiative and remain calm under pressure
- Passionate about developing a career in care and management
