SAFER RECRUITMENT & WORKFORCE COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Fixed-Term Contract – 3 Months

About the RoleWe are looking for an organised and proactive administrator to support recruitment, onboarding and workforce compliance across our Children's Homes services and associated group companies.The successful candidate will be responsible for helping us attract candidates, coordinate recruitment activity, complete safer recruitment checks, maintain personnel files, support staff induction and ensure workforce records remain accurate and compliant.This role would suit somebody with recruitment, HR administration or compliance administration experience who enjoys organisation, attention to detail and keeping processes moving.
Main Duties
- Advertise vacancies and proactively source candidates.
- Screen applications and coordinate interviews.
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Process DBS applications, references and pre-employment checks.
- Prepare contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate new starter inductions and mandatory training requirements.
- Create and maintain personnel files and workforce records.
- Monitor recruitment and compliance trackers.
- Support managers to ensure recruitment processes are completed efficiently and safely.
- Assist with workforce audits and compliance reviews.
Essential Requirements
- Previous administration experience within recruitment, HR or workforce compliance.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow processes accurately.
Desirable Experience
- Social care, Children's Homes, healthcare or education.
- DBS processing and pre-employment checks.
- Personnel file management.
- Safer recruitment practices.
All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, right to work checks and an Enhanced DBS Check with Children's and Adults' Barred Lists.
