The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operational success of the home. You will set the standard, lead with integrity, and ensure the highest quality of care for every child.
You will:
- Lead and manage the home in line with Ofsted regulations and best practice
- Create a nurturing, trauma-informed environment where children feel safe and supported
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a dedicated care team
- Ensure high-quality, individualised care planning and positive outcomes
- Build strong relationships with children, families, social workers, and external professionals
- Oversee safeguarding, compliance, quality assurance, and inspections
- Manage budgets and ensure the home operates efficiently and sustainably
About You
We are looking for a confident, compassionate leader who:
- Has proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential setting
- Has strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted standards, and regulations
- Leads with passion, empathy, and professionalism
- Can inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Is driven by a genuine desire to improve the lives of children in care
