1 x Full time 39 hours and 1 x 20 hours per week must be fully flexible
- 8:00am – 8:30pm
- 3:00pm – 8:30pm
- Optional double-up shifts (10:00am – 3/4:00pm – flexible depending on availability)

Real Life Options is looking for caring and committed Female Support Workers to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact.
Real Life Options is a registered charity delivering person-centred support services. We support individuals in shared living environments and their own homes, helping them live life to the fullest.
You’ll be supporting four individuals, three of whom have autism, within a small supported living service in a rural setting near Durham.
Experience with complex needs and alternative communication methods would be beneficial.
- Autism
- Prader-Willi Syndrome
- Diabetes
- Epilepsy
- Behaviours of concern
You’ll support individuals with daily activities while promoting independence and choice, including:
- Personal care
- Cooking & meal preparation
- Shopping & finances
- Household tasks
You’ll also help people enjoy life through activities such as:
- Walks in quiet locations
- Day trips (e.g. coast)
- Arts & crafts
- Cinema, bowling & baking
- Music & relaxation
This is a rural service (5 miles from Durham city centre).
- Bus access available (Routes 56, X78, 3)
- Earliest arrival needed: 8:00am
- Own transport is beneficial
