Job Summary
Draycote Hotel & Whitefields Golf Club are now seeking an experienced, professional Hotel Receptionist with a strong hospitality focus and a minimum of two years’ hospitality/hotel reception experience. We are looking for someone who has delivered outstanding service and exceptional customer care in a quality hospitality, hotel or venue environment.
You will be responsible for covering the reception desk, welcoming guests and visitors, taking accommodation and restaurant reservations, operating the hotel booking system, Rezlynx and undertaking additional reception and from of house responsibilities.
The successful candidate will:
· Have experience in hospitality and reception duties in a busy reception/front of house/hotel operation.
· Take, amend, and cancel reservations and bookings via phone, email, or booking systems. Maintain accurate guest records and handle correspondence.
· Payments - Prepare bills, process cash and credit card payments
· You must be totally dedicated to the delivery of service excellence, full engagement and effective communication amongst your teams and customers.
· Be fully up-to-date with all necessary fire evacuation, and Health & Safety legislation and building compliance.
· Strong multitasking skills to manage phone lines, guests, and administrative tasks simultaneously.
· Proficiency in IT systems, including email, Microsoft Office, and property management systems (PMS).
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations or complaints and be professional at all times
· You must be well presented
· Be able to adapt your skills to meet the needs of our clients, delegates, guests and stakeholders.
· Be courteous, knowledgeable, and professional with humility and grace, yet be confident and passionate about the work you perform.
· As Receptionist, you will work full-time, not less than 4 shifts per week either earlies or lates including weekends. You will need to be flexible with the days you are able to work.

Responsibilities
· Greet guests warmly and assist with their check-in, departure, inquiries or requests.
· Assist with luggage handling and transportation for guests as needed.
· Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance guest experience.
· Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality throughout all interactions.
· Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the establishment.
Experience
· Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality or guest services reception
· Strong customer service skills to handle all enquiries professionally.
· Effective communication skills with diverse guests and other staff.
· A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service in a hotel or similar environment is highly valued.
· Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
· A commitment to delivering outstanding performance by working on their own initiative and as part of a hospitality team
· Knowledge of hotel PMS accommodation booking systems
