Advanced Technical Trainer – Bus & Coach Engineering

Excell Supply are recruiting on behalf of a further education college for an experienced and motivated Advanced Technical Trainer in Bus & Coach Engineering.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking engineering department with outstanding training facilities and strong industry partnerships. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality apprenticeship training to learners on Bus and Coach engineering programmes.
The client has invested heavily in modern engineering and transport facilities, providing learners and staff with access to industry-standard equipment and specialist training environments.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging practical and theoretical apprenticeship training Support and mentor apprentices throughout their programme Carry out workplace and vocational assessments both on and off site Work closely with employers and the wider engineering team Maintain high standards of health & safety, safeguarding and compliance
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Industry experience within Bus & Coach engineering, maintenance or operations A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area Strong communication and mentoring skills Knowledge of current industry regulations and health & safety standards A passion for developing the next generation of engineering professionals
Teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential. Applications are welcomed from both qualified teachers and experienced industry professionals looking to move into education, with full training and ongoing support available.
