Job Title: Female Care Worker required in Southall Carer must speak Punjabi
Role Overview:-
Provide compassionate and professional care to elderly individuals, promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being, while supporting their mobility and physical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, toileting).
- Support with mobility, including transfers to and from the bed, toilet, and shower.
- Safely operate manual handling equipment e.g., hoists and transfer aids.
- Monitor health and report concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prompting Medication intake
- Report any concerns immediately to the office
Requirements:
- Experience in elderly care (preferred)
- Knowledge of care plans, safeguarding, and safe handling practices.
- up to date with mandatory training
- Has the right work in the UK
- Speaks English and Punjabi
- Training or experience in using manual handling and transfer equipment.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours.
- Valid DBS check.
- Lives in Local area
Preferred Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- First aid or manual handling certification.
- Up to date with mandatory training
