Godfrey Care are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to manage and develop our recruitment function across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and hands-on professional to drive innovative recruitment strategies, support service growth, and ensure we attract and retain talented people who share our values.
You will play a key role in strengthening our workforce by delivering effective recruitment processes, building strong relationships with managers, and introducing new ways of working to attract high-quality candidates across our services. You will also work closely with the recruiter, supporting them in day-to-day recruitment activity and ensuring the team delivers consistently excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the internal recruitment function across the organisation
- Take a hands-on approach to the full recruitment lifecycle, from attraction through to onboarding
- Work closely with the recruiter to support recruitment campaigns and day-to-day hiring activity
- Work closely with managers and service leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates
- Monitor recruitment activity and manage weekly recruitment budgets
- Build strong candidate pipelines to reduce vacancies and improve time-to-hire
- Continuously review and improve recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team to ensure recruitment aligns with organisational values and culture
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role
- Experience recruiting within the health and social care sector (required)
- A proactive and hands-on approach to recruitment
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities across different services
- Experience implementing recruitment improvements or innovative attraction methods
