Working within the Homerton Parkinson’s & movement disorders service provides specialist outpatients services, inpatient review and supports the adult community rehabilitation team Parkinson’s practitioner and complex community dwelling patients.

To deliver proactive, holistic and evidence based advanced assessment and management of people with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders.
To review and monitor response to treatment and alter plans as necessary determined by the outcome of further investigations to ensure care is safe and effective.
To provide specialist input to ED, SDEC and Inpatient wards including support with time critical medication and deliver specialist outpatient new and follow‑up clinics and community home visits for complex and housebound patients.
Be able to identify emergency presentations, patient deterioration, patients at risk or other issues that require further attention, and take appropriate actions
