Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food production and preparation. As the Chef, you will play a vital role in supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and consistency in all dishes served.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Train new staff on kitchen procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
