We are looking for Family Events Lead staff to manage the family friendly events/activities during the school holidays.
The ideal candidate would have a friendly nature, enthusiasm for working with children/families and a ‘can do’ attitude, willing to be hands on and help out wherever is needed. The main responsibility is to manage and co-ordinate the Events Casual Workers and volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the activities taking place. The role will be customer facing, including the need to set-up family events such as preparation of materials, laying out furniture or installing signage. This role also involves being the key point of contact for RHS staff and the Duty Manager on the day and helping us to deliver outstanding customer service to the visitors.
The work is flexible and staff are able to sign up for shifts dependent on their own availability. In particular the team are looking to recruit those candidates with weekend availability.
All relevant training will be provided. Event experience is desirable but not essential.
