Job description
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Traffic Management Operative (Minimum M1 & M2) to join our team. You will play a key role in setting up and maintaining safe traffic management systems on the highways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain and remove traffic management systems (cones, signs, barriers, etc)
- Work in line with Chapter 8 and safety regulations
- Ensure the safety of road users, pedestrians and site operatives
- Carry out daily checks of equipment and vehicles
- Work closely with supervisors and team members on site
- Respond to changing site requirements and traffic conditions
Requirements:
- Valid M1 & M2 Traffic Management qualifications
- Previous experience in traffic management
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible approach to working hours (including nights and weekends if required)
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Is clear of drugs or alcohol when reporting for work. Regular testing takes place, and we have a zero-tolerance policy.
