Experienced Self-Employed Cleaner - Winchester & Surrounding Areas
We're a small, well-established cleaning business based in Winchester with a rapidly growing client base and we're looking for a brilliant self-employed cleaner to join us on an ongoing basis.
New clients are coming on board all the time, so hours will build steadily. This is a great opportunity for the right person to secure regular, dependable work with a friendly, professional team.
About the role
You'll be cleaning a mix of private homes, offices, and end-of-tenancy properties across Winchester, Eastleigh, Bishopstoke, Romsey and the surrounding areas. Every day is a bit different, and no two clients are the same, so you'll need to enjoy variety and take genuine pride in leaving a space spotless.
What you'll be doing
- Regular domestic cleans for private clients
- Commercial cleans (offices, etc)
- One-off and deep cleans
- End-of-tenancy cleans
- Occasional bed linen changes (a handful of clients request this)
- Following client-specific requirements and checklists where needed
What we're looking for
- Experienced cleaner who can provide 2 references
- Self-employed and fully insured (public liability)
- Drives and has own reliable vehicle
- Available to start immediately
- Confident with a wide range of cleaning products, tools and equipment
- Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
- High standards and dependable - turns up on time, every time
- A genuine love of animals (many of our clients have pets, so being comfortable around dogs and cats is essential!)
- Trustworthy, discreet and professional - you'll often be working in clients' homes unsupervised
- Confident spoken English
Nice to have
- A valid DBS check (not essential, but a plus)
The practical bits
- Pay: from £15.50 per hour
- Hours: 10–15 hours per week to start, weekdays only, with the opportunity to grow as our client base expands
- All cleaning products are supplied
- Right to work in the UK required
