Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to support the daily operations of our vibrant hospitality venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a solid background in food and beverage management. Responsibilities
- Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing all aspects of bar operations, including staff supervision, stock management, and customer service.
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service, ensuring consistency and professionalism across all shifts.
- Coordinate food preparation and ensure quality standards are met in line with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise the serving of beverages and food, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Manage daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
- Support in organising training programmes related to food safety, culinary techniques, and hospitality best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the venue.
- Assist with event planning or special functions as required, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, with a focus on food preparation, cooking, or bar service.
- Supervising experience with team management responsibilities within a busy setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with kitchen experience or hotel operations is advantageous.
- Previous experience as a barista or in serving roles is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
