Class 1 Drivers
Drivers Direct Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our client's team in Darwen.
Working Hours:
- Shifts starting around 0600
Salary:
- £17.10 per hour (before 8pm).
- £20 per hour (after 8pm)
- Rates are inclusive of holiday pay
- Temp to perm
Role Overview:
- Delivering paint products using HGV 1 vehicles.
- RDC Trunking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per operational procedures.
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed according to company guidelines.
- Delivering and collecting from customers in a safe and professional manner.
- Completing all required paperwork accurately and submitting it at the end of each shift.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence.
- Valid Driver CPC card.
- Valid digital tachograph card.
- Minimum of 1 years HGV 1 experience (due to insurance stipulations).
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- A safe driving record.
- No more than 6 minor penalty points on your licence (due to insurance stipulations).
- No DR, IN, or DD offence codes (due to insurance stipulations).
