Summary
Join Everyone Active as a Community Activator Coach Apprentice in Mid Suffolk. This role is vital in inspiring and supporting individuals to participate in regular physical activity, aligning with our mission to promote health and wellbeing within the community. Based in Stowmarket, you will work within our dedicated team to make a positive impact.
Responsibilities
- Leading/Coaching fun, inclusive and engaging activities which help inactive people to change their behaviour to adopt a more active lifestyle.
- The activities are particularly focussed on children from low income families, people with disabilities or long term medical conditions and older people
- Support the planning of community activity programs.
- Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment in all activities
- Assist with evaluating program effectiveness
- Setting up and putting away sports equipment to ensure facilities are ready for use.
- Qualifications
- A real passion for a wide range of sports, exercise and fitness.
- Good communication and customer care skills.
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to use own initiative
- Full driving license and access to a car essential.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training.
