Exciting Opportunity for a Delivery Driver/Picker at The Forest Bakery
The Forest Bakery is a family run, artisan bakery situated in the heart of Bristol. We bake fresh bread and pastries that we deliver to delis and cafes across the city as well as selling to the public direct from our bakery shop. We are looking for a friendly and reliable delivery driver/picker to join our team to deliver to our wholesale customers.
Job Role
We seek a dedicated delivery driver and picker to work five mornings per week, from Tuesday to Saturday. You will be driving our company van, picking and packing baked goods and delivering trays of bread and pastries to our wholesale customers. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and personable, with a desire to contribute positively to our bakery team. Applicants must have a minimum of five years driving experience, familiarity with driving vans, and possess a clean driving licence.
This job is ideally suited to someone who doesn't mind getting up early, is friendly and good with people. It also involves some lifting and applicants need to be physically fit and able to lift a tray of bread easily.
Pay
· Hourly pay: £13/hr
· Holiday pay included
· Working hours: 5:00am to approximately 10:00am (around 25 hours/week)
· Daily complimentary bread, pastries and coffee
