Van Driver Vacancy – Morning & Night Shifts
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting reliable and experienced Van Drivers to join our growing team for both Morning and Night shifts. This is a full-time, offering a minimum of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Pay: £12.71–£13.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Minimum 3 years' UK driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UK roads and traffic regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans while complying with all road traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring all items are handled with care and secured for transport.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch teams, and colleagues regarding deliveries and any delays.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including stock organisation and manual handling where required.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the company vehicle.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a van or delivery driver.
- Strong driving skills and commitment to road safety.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move goods safely.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
