Contracts Manager – Bristol

What will I be doing in the role?
You will be responsible for managing Responsive and Void contracts as well as a Planned works programme in and around the Bristol region, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will deliver excellent operational performance to drive high customer satisfaction levels, all in line with budget. You will be expected to maintain and build strong client relationships both directly and through the contract teams.
You should also be experienced in dealing with the day-to-day management of both direct labour and sub-contractors.

For the Contract Manager role, it is specifically important that you have:
- Extensive experience of leading and delivering contracts within the Social Housing sector
- Excellent knowledge of the NHF schedule of rates (SOR’s)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Good knowledge of Awaab’s law and HRSSS
- Understanding of how to maximise productivity and drive improvements.
- Experience of delivering TBT
- Excellent written and oral presentation
- Good understanding of H&S legislation
- Ability to produce RAMS documentation.
- Awareness and ability to implement/deliver under CDM.
- Experience of managing and improving internal and external customer relationships and conflict handling
- Understanding of KPI drivers for MD and our Clients
- Experience in building and leading teams
- SMSTS, first aid, Scaffold awareness and inspection, Asbestos awareness, and Working at Height would be desirable
- Ability to deliver an out-of-hour service in line with the client’s needs
Qualifications
- SMSTS/NVQ 4 or 7 (preferred)
- IOSH/NEBOSH (preferred)
- Trade experience - City & Guilds/NQV (preferred)
