Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food and beverage service, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Manage customer service interactions, resolving any issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist in training new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to develop team skills.
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth workflow.
- Organise shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee staff performance during service hours.
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to health and safety policies.
- Support the management team in implementing promotional activities and special events.
Experience
- Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation.
- Demonstrable supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and staff development.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
