Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and food preparation techniques. As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food production, and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and presentation.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Participate in the planning of special events and catering services as required.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
- A creative mindset with an eye for detail in presentation and flavour combinations.
