About the role
We are seeking a Multiskilled Social Housing Subcontractor to join our team, supporting the delivery of occupied and void property maintenance, which will involve general multi-skilled work. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the drive to make things possible. This vacancy will be covering West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, temp to permanent vacancy, working 40 hours per week.
We are a customer-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be an experienced Labourer, but you will also have great customer service skills, a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
You must have a full UK driving licence and there is a requirement for a basic DBS check, which will be paid for by GME Group.
Key essential requirements of the role
- You must be able to demonstrate competence within various multi-trade skills and experience in basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, mould washes/treatment and flooring coverings..
- Have working knowledge of the ‘Schedule of Rates’
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment and within the social housing sector, where you have delivered a great service
- Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to carry out physical tasks and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
