We are looking for a full-time receptionist to join our friendly and energetic team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, helping us deliver warm, personal service every day.

The Albany Hotel is a boutique hotel set within a beautifully converted Georgian building dating back to 1764.
Located in the heart of St Andrews, opposite the University of St Andrews and just steps from the Castle, Cathedral and The Old Course, it offers an ideal base from which to explore the town.
The Hotel's quaint historic character creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and with just 22 rooms we are able to maintain exceptionally high standards of accommodation and service while preserving a personal, friendly approach to every guest.

Job Overview
Shifts can vary between morning, afternoon and evening, and full flexibility is required. This will include weekdays & weekends.
Duties
- Welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out
- Handle reservations by phone, email, and online systems
- Provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions
- Resolve guest queries with a calm, solution-focused approach
- Ensure accurate billing and payment processing
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area
- Support general administrative tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hotel reception experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Flexible availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends
- Positive, welcoming attitude
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
