We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting clients with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Assisting with medication management in accordance with care plans
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for all clients
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to update on wellbeing and progress
Qualifications
- Previous experience working not essential; full training will be provided
- Valid driving licence is required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care records
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or schedules as required
