Business Data Migration Expert - Manufacturing
Job Description
As the Business Data Migration expert – Manufacturing, you will perform business related tasks of data migration activities on the assigned data objects in Manufacturing area (Material master, Inventory, batches, BOM, routings, plant maintenance in SAP), in line with global/deployment/country requirements and timelines. You will be part of deployment (above-country) data migration team, work closely with functional points of contact for data migration, business users from countries and IT counterparts. This position offers an opportunity to participate on Data Migration activities including (Technical Research & Development) business.
Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure Manufacturing data cleansing tasks are completed on time
- Complete data collection for manual/construction objects on time
- Work together with IT counterparts to prepare value mappings
- Create and maintain master lists if applicable for assigned objects
- Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from the legacy system(s) for assigned data objects.
- Ensure Manufacturing data readiness & verify quality throughout data journey for assigned data objects
- Verify that data is fit for purpose (incl. alignment with internal/external stakeholders)
- Perform manual (type-in) data loads into target clients where applicable for assigned objects Execution and approval of data verification scripts
Essential Requirements:
- Understand business processes in Manufacturing area (materials, inventory, batches, BOM, routings, plant maintenance in SAP)
- Experience with using ERP system in Manufacturing area
- Good communication and negotiation skills, stakeholder management. 5+ years in country & global roles.
- Fluent English & Portugese
- Strategic and hands on way of working (running meetings, tracking progress, managing issues) Strong Excel Skills.
- ERP project implementation experience preferred
- Data Migration experience preferred
Desirable Requirements:
- Graduate / Post Graduate in Supply Chain/Operations/Pharmacy/Life Sciences/Engineering/Commerce/Economics.
MUST HAVE:
- Fluent English & Portugese
- The working hours will be aligned with Brazil's business hours
