Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences in a friendly restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and supporting overall operations to uphold our high standards of customer satisfaction. This position will involve working weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and manage reservations efficiently to optimise seating arrangements
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and manage basic maths calculations for bills and change
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow during busy periods
- Uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Support team members during service shifts to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
- 2 years Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety protocols
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and billing accurately
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
