Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Support clients in managing their behaviour and emotional well-being through effective behaviour management techniques.
- Support clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or health to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients by assisting with household tasks as required.
Skills
- Experience in care, home care, or patient care is highly desirable but not essential as in-house training will be provided.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary needs while considering client preferences.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A valid driving licence
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records and care plans.
