Home Carer / Support Worker (Female) – Bothwell, South Lanarkshire
Penuel Care Services is looking for a compassionate and reliable female Home Carer / Support Worker to join our friendly team in Bothwell.
Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours per week
Location: Bothwell, South Lanarkshire
Contract: Part-time
Shift Pattern
- Tuesday: 10:30 am – 11:30 am and 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
- Wednesday: 10:30 am – 11:30 am and 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
- Friday: 10:30 am – 11:30 am and 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
- Saturday: 10:30 am – 11:30 am and 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
- Sunday: 10:30 am – 11:30 am and 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
About the Role
You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to an individual in their own home, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Duties include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Preparing simple meals and drinks
- Assisting with medication in line with care plans and company policies
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with light household tasks
- Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing
- Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate records
What We're Looking For
- A caring, compassionate and dependable nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car with business-use insurance is highly desirable
- PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to join)
- SSSC registration (or willingness to register if required)
