As Second Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the preparation and service of meals while ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised, and operating to excellent hygiene standards.
This role would suit someone with previous kitchen or catering experience who enjoys cooking fresh food and wants a role with daytime hours and a better work-life balance.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook fresh daily meals for residents
- Assist with dietary requirements and special meal requests
- Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards
- Support kitchen organisation and cleanliness
- Work closely with the wider care home team
- Help create a positive mealtime experience for residents
