Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Taking orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Serving food and beverages with professionalism and courtesy
- Preparing and presenting drinks in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout the shift
- Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service
- Assisting with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Managing guest enquiries and resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Processing payments accurately using the POS system
- Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in setting up and arranging event spaces to meet specific function requirements and company standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Excellent guest service skills, including clear communication and a friendly demeanour
- Experience in serving, upselling, and handling cash transactions is desirable
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary
