About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time, term-time only Band 6 Paediatric OT position based within a specialist SEN school in Brent, North West London. You will be joining a fully integrated, on-site multidisciplinary team working alongside Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants, and Creative Arts Therapists across a 36-hour working week.
The caseload is broad, varied, and incredibly rewarding spanning sensory, physical, functional, and developmental areas across the full 3 to 19 age range, all within one setting. Day to day you will be delivering specialist OT assessments and interventions across a complex and varied caseload, contributing to high-quality EHCP assessments and annual reviews, developing and implementing personalised OT programmes in collaboration with class teams, providing training and guidance to school staff on OT strategies, and supporting therapy assistants within a culture of shared learning.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with experience in paediatrics, SEN, or a related clinical setting. You will need a solid understanding of SEND and EHCP processes, strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills, and the communication and organisational ability to thrive within a busy, collaborative MDT. Whether you are an experienced paediatric OT ready for a setting where your contribution is truly recognised, or an OT earlier in your career looking to develop specialist skills within a clinically rich environment, we would love to hear from you.
Salary and Benefits
