Part-Time Cleaner
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at our busy business centre in Burnley. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the communal areas of the building, helping to provide a clean, safe, and professional environment for tenants and visitors.
There may be opportunities for additional hours, and occasional cover may be required at other sites within our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning communal areas including corridors, stairwells, reception areas, kitchens, and washrooms.
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and polishing as required.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Cleaning and sanitising high-contact surfaces.
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
- Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional cleaning experience required.
- Experience cleaning offices, commercial premises, or communal areas is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Flexible approach to work, including occasional cover at other sites when required.
