Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health.
- Diagnose dental conditions using clinical evaluation and medical imaging tools.
- Develop personalised treatment plans, including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive procedures.
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and implants with precision and care.
- Utilise CAD software for designing restorations and prosthetics where applicable.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
- Collaborate with dental team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Dentist with a recognised qualification in dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental practice.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for designing dental restorations is desirable.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays or digital scans to assist diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for performing precise dental procedures.
- Effective communication skills to explain treatment options clearly to patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Pay: From £47,871.17 per year
