Wholesale Sales Representative

Base salary plus commission. 5 days a week- OTE of over £40,000

Due to our continued success, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to support the growth of our business.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport quickly and deliver outstanding customer service. As a B2B Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving wholesale revenue growth, establishing strategic partnerships with UK sofa/furniture retailers, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. This role requires a highly proactive and consultative approach to identifying retailer needs, presenting compelling product solutions, and negotiating mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
The Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in developing and expanding our business-to-business sales division from the ground up. While we currently operate primarily as a direct-to-consumer sofa retailer, we are strategically launching a wholesale arm to diversify revenue streams, strengthen cash flow, and significantly increase overall sales volume. This role involves researching and identifying potential retail partners across the UK, initiating contact with decision-makers at independent and chain sofa/furniture retailers, presenting our product range and value proposition, negotiating wholesale pricing and partnership terms, and successfully placing our products in their retail locations. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract closure and ongoing account management.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales growth.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Contacting furniture retailers up and down the country and pitching our products to them as well as visiting them in person from time to time.
- Manage time efficiently to meet sales targets and deadlines.
- Organise sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase offerings.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or a related field is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with clients and close the deal.
- Good friendly and professional telephone manner
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent IT skills
- Must be able to drive and have your own vehicle
Base salary plus commission. 5 days a week- OTE of over £40,000
Monday – Friday 9.30 – 18.00
