Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery in the General Managers absence
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Assist with food safety compliance and ensure adherence to hygiene regulations
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity
- Support staff training programmes, including serving techniques and hospitality best practices
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production and menu implementation
- Maintain stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage inventory control
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and customer service at all times
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures
- Experience in team management and leadership roles in restaurants or hotels
- Familiarity with culinary techniques, food production processes, and kitchen operations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Good communication skills to liaise with staff and guests confidently
- Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous but not essential
- A recognised qualification in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a positive team environment
Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
