Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Admin Assistant to support our facilities management operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is perfect for someone looking to balance work with other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings.
- Handle phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain and update company databases and records.
- Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Support the facilities management team with various tasks and projects.
- Ensure the office is organized and supplies are stocked.
- Manage invoicing processes and chase overdue payments.
- Assist with pricing materials through suppliers and maintaining cost records.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
- Experience with invoicing and accounts receivable processes.
- Ability to price materials and liaise with suppliers effectively.
Rate of pay : £NMW
