As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Customer Account Executive to join our office-based team.
The Role
As a Customer Account Executive, you will be the key point of contact for a portfolio of trade customers, ensuring they receive outstanding service and support. You will build strong relationships, process orders, identify sales opportunities and help customers make the most of our extensive range of fine food and beverage products.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with new and existing trade customers.
- Handle incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide advice on products, promotions and new launches.
- Proactively contact customers to drive sales and maximise account potential.
- Work closely with warehouse, purchasing and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Maintain accurate customer records and account information.
- Support customer onboarding and account setup processes.
- Monitor sales activity and identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
- Assist with promotional campaigns and seasonal sales initiatives.

Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Previous experience in a customer service, account management, internal sales or sales support role.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
Desirable
- Experience within food wholesale, FMCG, retail or distribution.
- Experience using CRM or order management systems.
- An interest in speciality food and drink products.
